HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Ngwane Teacher's College was established under the Ministry of Education and Training. Originally introduced to produce two-year Primary Teachers Certificate holders, the programme has since been reviewed and expanded to offer a comprehensive three-year Diploma programme.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

Standard Entry:

Applicants must have a minimum of six passes at O’level including English Language, with at least three credits in subjects taught at primary schools (e.g. Mathematics, Siswati, History, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, etc.).

Alternative Entry Routes:

  • A Primary Teachers' Certificate plus a minimum of five O’level passes (including English and three credits in primary subjects) to enter at Year 2.
  • Any other equivalent qualification approved by the Board of Affiliated Institutions.

Students who have completed some courses at other institutions may be exempted from re-taking those courses.

    Successful candidates will be informed through official channels. Admission letters must be collected in person with a valid National ID.
